Windsong Properties Celebrates 10th Anniversary with New Active Adult Community

Heron Pond road under constructionAfter a productive and successful 10 years building homes and communities for active adults, Windsong Properties is not about to slow down. With a new Gold OBIE award for home design, the builder is underway on a new active adult community in Woodstock. Heron Pond will be a gated community and will offer 75 courtyard homes.

Last week, Heron Pond’s street paving process began. The street designations are inspired by the works of John James Audubon, a French-American ornithologist, naturalist and painter who published The Birds of America, a book containing illustrations of a wide variety of birds in 1827. With names like Heron Landing, Mallard Crossing and Kingfisher Cove, you will be reminded that it is your time to soar at every turn.

Construction on the community’s two model homes will begin within a few weeks in Phase I, and four unique new home designs are being finalized. To complete this collection, Windsong will be offering its most popular floor plan from the nearby Somerset community, the Worthington, with all of the latest improvements. It will be easy to spread your wings in one of Heron Pond’s new homes. Each home will include open living spaces, low maintenance materials, safe and step-free access, a luxurious owners’ suite, a private courtyard retreat, flex space, and basements – per home site Heron Pond road workand plan.

Just two miles west of Sandy Plains Road on Highway 92, you will have plenty of activities to choose from in East Cobb, Roswell and Downtown Woodstock.

While Heron Pond is under construction, feel free to visit one of the builder’s other communities and tour the model homes which will be representative of the finishes you will see in the homes at Heron Pond.
