Windsong Properties Builds 1,000th EasyLiving® Home

Windsong PropertiesWindsong Properties recently celebrated the construction of the 1,000th EasyLiving® home in conjunction with their sixth anniversary party in November. The award winning active adult builder was one of the first in the state to embrace the concept of the EasyLiving® program and has been an advocate for EasyLiving® Homes since the program’s conception, building 212 of the 1,000 EasyLiving® Homes. The active adult courtyard home builder has built over 20% of all EasyLiving® Homes available.

The EasyLiving® Home program was conceived and developed cooperatively by organizations representing the building industry, government and accessibility advocates. To date, this program is the most successful attempt to promote change in construction practices without adversely affecting either the builder or the new homebuyer.

Windsong still has EasyLiving® Homes available in the Somerset Community located in Woodstock. The 57 home community features detached ranch courtyard homes priced from $280,000. The three bedroom homes are complete with elegant detailing and fine craftsmanship that can be found everywhere from  private courtyards with garden retreats and rocking chair front porches outside to 10 foot ceilings, crown molding and large master suites inside.

In addition to perfect sized homes and a great location, Somerset homeowners will enjoy the beautiful streetscape with wide tree-shaded sidewalks, the elegant clubhouse and beautiful park perfect for a twilight stroll.
