What New BeltLine, MARTA Funding Means for four15 stacks

On November 8, 2016, Atlanta residents voted to approve additional sales taxes to raise funds for the completion of the Atlanta BeltLine loop and the improvement of existing transportation stations, or the addition of new ones. Under the new referenda, the City of Atlanta will collect a halfpenny sales tax to fund MARTA and transit expansions and four-tenths of a penny sales tax to fund TSPLOST, revenues generated to fund specifically identified transportation improvements. These measures will raise around $2.5 billion for MARTA over 40 years and $300 million over five years for TSPLOST.
