Waters Edge Group Wins Gold for The Preserve at Fischer Mansion

The Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council congratulates Waters Edge Group for winning a Gold OBIE in the Single-Family Attached-Urban Redevelopment/Revitalization $300,000 to $499,999 category for their Townhome G2 floor plan at The Preserve at Fischer Mansion in Dekalb County. The OBIE Awards are the premier awards in the new home construction industry.

The Preserve at Fischer MansionThe historic Fischer Mansion home was built in 1930 by prominent Atlanta physician Dr. Luther Fischer. Over the years, this grand 100-acre estate developed into one of the south’s premier horticultural showplaces and thousands would flock each year to tour the splendid gardens of “Flowerland.” Today, this historic home and its surrounding gardens are the centerpiece of this new townhome community, The Preserve at Fischer Mansion.

Located in the heart of Chamblee, the developers took great care to incorporate the history and the gardens of this showplace into the design of this townhome community. The once famous gardens are now the centerpiece of the community, thus preserving the gardens of “Flowerland.”
