Visitors to Crescent Landing Model Opening to Enjoy Food from Varsity
![]()
To most people who grew up in the Metro Atlanta area, the sound of “What’ll ya have?” is likely as familiar as the Yellow Jacket or Bulldog fight songs. “What’ll ya have?” is synonymous with the famed Varsity Drive-In, and those visiting the model home Grand Opening on Saturday, June 30, at Crescent Landing in Cumming will be able to revisit that experience as they enjoy food catered by The Varsity. Food being served from noon until 2 p.m. that day from The Varsity catering truck will be cooked fresh on the spot and will include the hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, and onion rings served at The Varsity’s drive-in locations. The celebration, which will include a ribbon cutting, is being held in observance of the Grand Opening of the New Haven, the second decorated model home in Brayson Homes’ Crescent Landing community, which is located near Georgia Highway 400.
Located on Elmo Road, which runs off Bannister Road near Highway 369 West, the community will have 150 two and three-story homes. Homes in the community have prices beginning in the high $200,000s. The New Haven is a three-story, six-bedroom plan, while the initial model home, the Amelia, is a five-bedroom plan having one bedroom with a full bath option on the main level.
Amenities within the community, which contains a lot of hardwoods, include a swimming pool, a playground, and a cabana.
