ULI’s Development of Excellence Award Winners Announced

ULI Atlanta Industry leaders gathered last night to congratulate the outstanding projects that received recognition at ULI Atlanta’s Development of Excellence awards. The following projects were named Developments of Excellence:

  • Athens Multi-modal Station
  • Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre
  • The Howard School
  • Pemberton Place/The World of Coca-Cola

Special awards were also presented. Serenbe received the first Sustainability Award; the Dan Sweat Community Leadership Award went to two individuals who lead their educational institutions’ expansion and integration into their respective communities: Dr. Wayne Clough (former President of Georgia Institute of Technology and now Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution) and Dr. Carl Patton (former President of Georgia State University) and lastly, the Frank Carter Community Achievement Award was presented to Harold Dawson, Sr. for his lifetime of exemplary contribution to the Atlanta community.
Congratulations to all of these developments and to all of the awards finalists. If you have not toured these exemplary projects, make it a point to do so soon.
