ULI Atlanta’s DuFresne joins the Development Panel at Atlanta Property Opportunities conference
Jeff DuFresne, Executive Director of the Atlanta District Council Urban Land Institute joins top developers to tackle the pressing issues facing Atlanta’s development activity at the Atlanta Property Opportunities conference Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead.
Although Atlanta has millions of square feet of product under development, groundbreakings and announced projects have dramatically slowed down. Will issues such as the city’s water shortage and lack of financing grind development to a halt or push the throttle toward overbuilding? DuFresne and developers tackle these questions and more in a panel titled “Facing Developmental Challenges.”
Atlanta experienced a healthy 2007, with growth in both the urban core and suburban markets. Mixed-use development remained strong, with projects steadily breaking ground and delivering. But will the volatility in the capital markets and the economy change Atlanta’s course? Join CPN, the leader in the commercial real estate market, at its second annual Atlanta Property Opportunities conference to get the insider’s scoop on what’s in store for Atlanta in 2008 and beyond, while networking with your fellow professionals.
Other sessions include Whither the Capital Markets, Office Sector: Stormy Weather Ahead and Leaders Forum: The State of the Market.
