ULI Atlanta Welcomes Chris Leinberger

ULI Atlanta is teaming up with Livable Communities Coalition, Georgia Planning Association and Congress for New Urbanism to host a presentation given by Chris Leinberger. Leinberger is a metropolitan land use strategist, consultant, developer, teacher and author of “The Option of Urbanism-Investing in a New American Dream.” The event will be held at the American Cancer Society Center Theatre on September 11 from 7:30 am – 9:30 am. Leinberger will draw on his experiences and observations from other metropolitan areas to help Georgia better handle rapid growth, development and Atlanta transportation issues. After the presentation Jim Durrett will moderate a panel discussion featuring Dick Anderson from Georgia Regional Transportation Authority, Tom Bell from Cousins Properties, Inc. and Dr. Beverly Scott from MARTA. ULI Atlanta advances responsible land use policy and real estate development practice throughout greater Atlanta and this presentation is just one of the many yearly events they sponsor to reach their goals.
