ULI Atlanta Receives Top Honors from ULI National

We are extremely proud of ULI Atlanta! With the recent national recognition that our real estate organization received, it is clear that our local Urban Land Institute is one of the best nationwide. The local council was awarded a $25,000 Community Action Grant (CAG) to launch the “Center for Regional Leadership Development”, an annual program that will cultivate real estate talent that shares an appreciation of critical issues and opportunities for helping guide metropolitan Atlanta toward a more sustainable urban environment. The organization also received the top award for its matchless attendance and distinguished content of its programs, the second consecutive year that ULI Atlanta has won this award.

Through the Center for Regional Leadership Development, participants will gain insights and life-management skills that will improve their ability to collaborate with their classmates and other leaders in the world of real estate. The program will start with a small class of 16 and expand to a total of 36 over a three-year period.  Participants will be drawn from the regional real estate industry, regulatory agencies, environmental and arts-oriented nongovernmental groups, the design professions, the construction industry and financial organizations.  This CAG was selected from 25 applications and is the third CAG awarded to ULI Atlanta over the past two years.

In the last year, ULI Atlanta achieved the highest program attendance in a single year among any of ULI’s 66 District Councils worldwide; attracting close to 5,000 people to its many programs, including  the Excellence in Development Awards Dinner, Monopoly Night, Urban Marketplace, Emerging Trends in Real Estate and many others.
