You’ll definitely want to put Infrastructure 2008 in your day planner for tomorrow because this is a can’t-miss conference. ULI Atlanta is hosting Infrastructure 2008: A Competitive Advantage on May 30 at 7:30 am. The conference will talk about the new research conducted by Urban Land Institute and Ernst & Young that takes a closer look at the infrastructure needs of Atlanta and other U.S. metro areas. The research also compares the infrastructure of United States to that of Europe, China, India, and Japan in an effort to see what works best. Funding needs will also be discussed. The conference will be at the Georgia International Convention Center and a keynote address will be given by Tom Murphy and will include panel discussion and a Q&A format. ULI Atlanta is a nonprofit group that strives to advance responsible land and real estate development policy throughout greater Atlanta, and conferences like these allow everyone to brainstorm and find solutions to complex land use problems. ULI and Ernst & Young have done extensive research, and the conference will definitely be informative and productive.
