Three Lucky Project Playhouse Winners

Project Playhouse Camp TranquilityThe 2009 Project Playhouse officially concluded on October 10th when hundreds of raffle ticket holders anxiously awaited the announcement of the three playhouse winners. The three winners were all local families, residing in Cumming, Dawsonville and Suwanee.

During the three-week event, more than 7,600 people visited the Playhouse Village to view the extraordinary child-size dream homes, and nearly 12,200 raffle tickets were sold for an opportunity to win each of the playhouses. All proceeds from Project Playhouse benefit HomeAid Atlanta’s mission of building and maintaining dignified housing for temporarily homeless families and individuals in the metro Atlanta area.

On Monday, Oct. 5, HomeAid Atlanta announced the winner of the prestigious Project Playhouse People’s Choice Award at a luncheon honoring the playhouse building teams. The winner was Camp Tranquility by Dan DeJiacomo Custom Homes. The award was voted on by the public, with votes cast in-person at the Playhouse Village, online and via text.

Thank you for helping to make this year’s fundraiser such a success. We’re already planning next year’s event and are anxious to see the 2010 playhouses.
