This members-only reception, book signing and intimate conversation with McCoy will be held the evening of April 3rd.
Spanning four decades, this collection of McCoy’s essays chronicles the dynamic changes in real estate financing from the viewpoint of a practitioner and industry leader who was making real estate deals throughout the period.
McCoy operates Buzz McCoy Associates in Los Angeles, where he conducts a consulting business along with his philanthropic, teaching, and writing activities. With degrees from Stanford and Harvard, McCoy spent 30 years of his professional career at Morgan Stanley & Co. He was an owner of the firm and directed the firm’s real estate finance activities. McCoy is credited as pioneering the role of Wall Street in commercial real estate finance. He was named in 1999 by the National Real Estate Investor as one of the “100 real estate icons of the 20th Century.”
