To all members of the Atlanta SMC,

I just wanted to update you on the Atlanta SMC product drive for Georgia Canines for Independence. Last night, members donated 17 items with an estimated retail value of $147.00. With last month’s contribution of $116.00, it brings the total to $263 in in-kind contributions!

Thank you so much for your tremendous support of GCI! I am thrilled at the incredible response to this product drive, and it is making a difference in our organization.

I also wanted to remind you that GCI will be holding a graduation ceremony for our newest service dog teams on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Noon at the Holiday Inn Express in Kennesaw. We will be recognizing the Atlanta SMC and Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and asking that all members join Tim and I up front to be recognized for your accomplishments. I know that all of you are incredible busy, and it is quite a drive for many of you. Please know that we would love to see you there and have the opportunity to thank you if you are able to join us. The ceremony includes a slideshow of the teams’ training and experiences and will include pictures of the dogs taken at SMC meetings! I know that the service dog recipients would love to have the chance to meet you and thank you personally for changing their lives!
