For more than 20 years, CNN Money magazine has compiled a list of the Top 50 Best Places to Live and this year, three Georgia cities made the list, including Suwanee. Ranked at No. 33, Suwanee was the highest ranked city in Georgia with Evans ranking at No. 43 and Peachtree City ranking at No. 48. With its distinctive parks, crowd-pleasing events and a vibrant Town Center, it is no wonder that Suwanee was once again recognized as one of the best in the nation.
To compile the list of America’s Best Places to Live, Money focused on more than 1,300 towns with populations of 10,000 to 50,000. The magazine considered median family income, home values, education, crime scores, community spirit and quality-of-life factors such as health care, arts and leisure.
This is not the first time that Suwanee has made the list, ranking No. 10 in 2007 and No. 37 in 2009. Earlier in 2013, Suwanee was recognized by Family Circle magazine as one of the nation’s 10 Best Towns for Families and last year, Kiplinger.com ranked Suwanee as the third best city to raise children.
