State Legislators to Speak at Upcoming Henry Council for Quality Growth Meeting
The Henry Council for Quality Growth will host a state legislative update by State Representative Steve Davis and Senator Emanuel Jones to council members at the next luncheon meeting Wednesday, June 20, at 11:00 a.m. at Eagle’s Landing Country Club. The Council feels it is important to stay informed about government proceedings at the state level because of the constant changing of Henry County and metro -Atlanta. “Our Council members are eager to learn what the state is doing and plans to do for responsible growth,” said Steve Cash, executive director of the Council.
The Council holds monthly meetings to educate members, local elected officials and business leaders on the Council’s pursuit of continued balanced and responsible growth. The meeting, which is sponsored by 3-D Construction, begins at 11 a.m. for networking, with the luncheon following at 11:50 a.m. The luncheon is $20 for HCQG members and $35 for non-members, so anyone is welcome to attend.
