Sovereign Gives Back to the Shepherd Center

Sovereign gives backThe season of giving has arrived, and with Halloween right around the corner, Atlantans are gearing up to give out candy and costume praise to trick-or-treaters who stop by.

Resident’s of Sovereign, Atlanta’s premier luxury condos took the spirit of the holiday one step further by volunteering an afternoon decorating the Shepherd center for Halloween. Residents Joe and Michele Rossman, Helene Liotta and Kaye Salikof teamed up with Sovereign’s concierge Shannon Lundy and property manager Stacy Goldworn to decorate the brain and spinal cord rehabilitation hospital for Halloween.

The project came about when the resident’s approached Shannon asking if there was a project they could all do together to give back to the Atlanta community. The Shepherd Center was the obvious choice for Sovereign as the pair had worked together on projects in the past. The Sovereign team spent the afternoon decorating outside the eatery and created 54 Halloween centerpieces for the tables and decked out the mantle in the dining area.

“It felt really good to be able to help out and decorate,” Shannon said. “It really makes you appreciate the things you have.”

Thank you to Sovereign and everyone out there in the Atlanta community who have taken the time out of your busy schedules to lend a helping hand. That is what this season is all about and part of what makes Atlanta such a great place to live.
