srcorp_logo-v23.jpgThe real estate agent profession is hard enough without the added stress of having to be Web 2.0 savvy. In the new age of home shopping, real estate agents have to have a Web site in order to stay afloat in the Atlanta real estate industry, and also have to regularly update it. Considering the fact that many leads and clients come through the agent Web site, it is imperative for it to be up-to-date and easy to navigate. softRealty.com has done some research and asked agents what options and features they would like to have on their site to make it more convenient, and it is through these answers that softRealty.com created Search Connect.

Search Connect is a new service designed by agents specifically for agents. The IDX service that allows for free MLS and FMLS listings onĀ  your site has now made finding listings much easier. Home shoppers that visit your site and do a property search by address, by county or by MLS - making the results of the property search as specific or as broad as the home shopper desires. After the initial search, the home shopper can then review the results and refine the search with more advanced options. Once they find a property that they like, they can view the details of the property and have access to many extra perks - like a mortgage calculator, map property, photos and tours, etc.

If the home shopper is impressed with the ease and convenience of your Web site, they will probably be inclined to use you for all of the real estate needs and refer you to friends - just something to keep in mind.
