Sneak Peek Into New Design Trends from PPG Porter Paints

Take a look at one of PPG Porter’s brand new trends:

This is one out of five new trends we are about to roll out, and I think you’ll be quite pleased with the direction of these trends!

We call the first one “Everyday Hero,” and it encompasses much more than just color!

It is all about building a life with values and balance. You can achieve peace in your life through more than just actions. The environments in which you work and live have a huge impact on your sanity! Everyday Hero focuses on an easy and laid back spirit. Spaces are simple and objects are durable. A few well made things are better then an overload of junky items!

Beauty is found in natural items. Think natural fibers, wood grains carved by hand and planters for herbs built right into the kitchen walls. Versatility in products is key. Forget using a coffee table as just a coffee table; use a table that converts to seating as well as storage. There is no need for a storage bin and a coffee table.

Color wise, think earthy hues rich in color such as terra cotta, corn yellow and olive greens. These colors along with warm greys and denim blues will give you plenty of color, while keeping to the soothing and neutral concept of “Everyday Hero.”
