Sixth Annual Goblin Gallop Needs Sponsors and Runners

With fall just around the corner and festivities beginning to start you won’t want to miss out on the sixth annual Goblin Gallop 6K race hosted by Heron Bay Golf and Country Club. This year’s event is scheduled on October 24th with races commencing at five. In addition to the 6K race, there will also be a 1 Mile Run/Walk and tot trot.

Even though the race is only about a month away, it is not too late to become a sponsor. Remember, this is a charitable race with all proceeds benefiting the Hands of Hope Clinic, Henry County’s only free medical and dental clinic. The clinic relies on charitable donations and volunteers.

Sponsorships are available in the following amounts.

• Great Pumpkin – $2,000
• Jack-O-Lantern – $1,500
• Ghost Rider Sponsor – $1,000
• Trick-or-Treat Sponsor – $500
• Spooky Sponsor – $300
• Goblin Ghost Runner – $20

You can fill out your sponsorship application or pre-registration application online at the Heron Bay Golf and Country Club website. Click on the Goblin Gallop icon near the bottom. Sponsorship applications will be accepted until October 16.

The Goblin Gallop has an event for everyone, so be sure to round up your family members, friends and neighbors to come take part. Pre-registration has already started. The cost for the 6K Run is only $15 and the cost for the 1 Mile Run/Walk is $10. It’s cheaper to register beforehand as prices will go up $5 each when you register at the door on the 24. Trot for Tots is free of charge and open to children aged 5 and under. Race day registration begins at four. Come prepared for a spooky time, because Goblin Gallop guests are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costumes.
