Sharp Residential Uses Lot Draw System to Meet Demand at Alpharetta’s Hearthstone

lot drawing by Sharp Residential at HeatherstoneDue to tremendous interest and demand, Atlanta-based home builder Sharp Residential recently hosted a lot drawing at its newest community, Hearthstone. Prospective homeowners participated in the lottery-style drawing, which was conducted by Alpharetta Vice Mayor D.C. Aiken. The drawing required a deposit and allowed the first choice of home site to the first buyer selected in the drawing.  Other participants were able to choose home sites in the order in which their names were drawn.

“Hearthstone is an exceptionally located 108-home community in the growing and incredible city of Alpharetta,” said Mike Ruland, vice president of sales and marketing at Sharp Residential. “The lot drawing was a fair, sensible and orderly way to provide exceptional customer service. Following the drawing, six contracts on new homes were written and there are many more to come.”

Sharp Residential continues its customer-focused legacy of building with integrity and experience with estate-style homes situated on oversized homes sites and Sharp’s signature amenities, including a Junior Olympic swimming pool and ALTA-accommodating tennis courts at Hearthstone.

Homes in the north Fulton County community will start in the $600,000s. Along with estate-style home sites and signature Sharp amenities, Hearthstone also boasts prime educational opportunities including Milton High School.

Near Hearthstone is Avalon, a $600 million, 86-acre sustainably designed development. Homeowners at Hearthstone will enjoy nearby mixed-use conveniences, including 559,000 square feet of high-end retail, a 14-screen theater, four-star hotel and Class A office space throughout a walkable, seamlessly connected community of shopping, dining, art, entertainment, living and working.

“With major companies choosing to ‘set up shop’ in Alpharetta, the area is growing at a quick pace, which means there is an associated demand for new housing,” said Ruland. “We are excited to offer high-quality, new home opportunities at Hearthstone, a community that features excellent amenities in a highly sought-after location with a lifestyle that includes growing business centers, top-rated education, first-rate shopping, dining and entertainment.”

The city of Alpharetta is rapidly growing with a new City Center underway. The City Center is slated to include a park, community square, City Hall, library and future developments, which will include restaurants and shops. Large corporations such as Fiserv, HP, McKesson, Kimberly Clark and many more are relocating and expanding, bringing new jobs to Alpharetta. Alpharetta, considered Georgia’s Hometown and Technology City of the South, is the economic engine of North Fulton with 600 technology companies. Georgia is a national leader in the field of technology and 35 percent of the state’s technology companies are located in Alpharetta, according to the Technology Association of Georgia.
