Scale Model Unveiled at Peachtree Hills Place

Isakson-Barnhart unveiled a scale model of Peachtree Hills Place, Atlanta’s residential community offering a continuum of care for adults ages 62 and over who want to live in the Peachtree Hills area.  Unveiled at a member’s event, the 1:20 scale model shows the community that will transform the heart of Peachtree Hills.

“We’re adding 850,000 square feet of space to one of Buckhead’s oldest neighborhoods and the scale model shows just how unobtrusive and refreshing such development can be,” said Andy Isakson, Managing Partner of Isakson-Barnhart.  “We’re adding more square footage than Phipps Plaza or the largest building at either Tower Place or Monarch Plaza, but our tallest building will be only five stories.”

Isakson-Barnhart is taking care to complement the Peachtree Hills neighborhood’s natural environment.  The award-winning develoer will grant an approximate five-acre conservation easement to the Chattahoochee Nature Center, and 50 percent of the total tree circumference on the existing site will be saved.

As the model was unveiled, Buckhead resident Cissy Smith added a scale replica of herself.  Smith says she chose Peachtree Hills Place because she loves its location and style.

The scale model was created by Jan Willadsen of Willadsen Scale Models in Atlanta. The master site plan scale model includes walkways, trails, gardens and buildings painted to represent the actual materials planned for construction, including stone, stucco and brick. The model measures 60″ x 59″, buildings are about 4″ tall and trees about 6″ — illustrating the Atlanta developer’s commitment to preserving natural fauna.
