Atlanta New Homes Ideal for Peachtree Road Race Training

With the Peachtree Road Race coming up on July 4th, people are in high training mode in order to be ready for the heated competition. By choosing to purchase a new home close to running trails, some people have a leg up in the competition. If you are an avid runner, then take notice of these homes that are in a perfect location in order to train for the Peachtree Road Race.

SovereignSovereign, the luxury high-rise condos in Buckhead, may not be close to parks or running trails, but it is basically located at the starting line of the Peachtree course. Any resident at Sovereign who wants to run the actual course to prepare for race day can walk outside their front door and just run down Peachtree Street. With a convenient location right near the MARTA station, Sovereign runners can hop on the MARTA to take a relaxing ride back home after the run or get extra practice running the 6.2 miles back to their front door. Sovereign’s world-class amenities like its 5,000-square-foot, fully staffed fitness center and zero-entry, saline-infused rooftop pool will also certainly help a runner train and relax after a tough workout.

SweetwaterBowen Family Homes’ Sweetwater Landing community also lends itself to world-class runners. The community is located across the street from Powder Springs Park – well known for its running trails, ball fields and outdoor pool. The community itself is perfect for the active resident with an on-site pool, cabana and play fountain. A cool dip in the pool after a run around Powder Springs Park’s 25-acres is sure to keep any Peachtree racer refreshed and ready for race day. Sweetwater Landing offers Cobb County new homes in the low to mid $200s with 3-4 bedroom floorplans and luxurious features. Its prime location near the Powder Springs Park only enhances its family-centered atmosphere.

The Lofts at 5300The Lofts at 5300 are also great for Peachtree racers. Located in downtown Chamblee, just north of Atlanta, The Lofts at 5300 are made for the active, young adult, with loft condos starting in the low $100s. A new biking and running trail recently opened right across the street from these great lofts. The linear, two-acre trail is perfect for daily training. Plus, the Lofts’ convenient location directly across the street from MARTA makes it easy to travel to and from the Peachtree road race. The weeks of training in the Loft’s fitness center and running on the convenient trails will all be worth it when you run the race and acheive a new personal best time. You’ll have to celebrate in the Lofts’ cafe that overlooks the heated pool.
