Robust Construction at The Orchards of East Cherokee

Woodstock active adult communityThe Orchards Group is delighted to announce that strong sales have led to increased construction activity at their Woodstock active adult community, The Orchards of East Cherokee.

“Our sales in 2012 were stronger than expected. The community is now 45 percent sold, and our new construction is a response to ongoing demand and our hope for a continually improving housing market in 2013,” said Mitch Block, Director of Sales and Marketing for The Orchards Group.

Currently, the builder is completing or starting construction on 10 new ranch condominiums at The Orchards of East Cherokee. Two of these new homes will be model homes that will open in January, one has already found a happy homeowner and seven are still for sale. The majority of these homes will be completed by early to mid spring, and a mix of floorplans are represented. Buyers will surely be able to find the right home with them as some of these homes even include the sunroom and bonus room options with pricing from $199,000 to $249,000.

In addition to ranch condos, we’re also building two courtyard single family homes. The Ascot, a spacious two bedroom home with large upstairs bonus suite, will be ready in mid January, while the Belmont, a two bedroom with den plan, will be ready by the end of March. Both homes are priced from the high $200,000s.

Of course, all homeowners at East Cherokee enjoy included lawn maintenance, a grand clubhouse with something for everyone, community swimming pool, waterfall sitting plaza and a grilling area.

The community’s Woodstock location is convenient to several nearby shopping centers, major retailers and restaurants in addition to recreation areas, medical facilities, entertainment venues and nearby cities.
