Richport Properties recognized at ARC State of the Region Breakfast

Another kudo for the Richport Team! Rick Porter recently attended the Atlanta Regional Commission’s State of the Region Breakfast and received an award.  Richport was awarded the 2008 Exceptional Merit for Neighborhood Infill and Sustainable Site and Infrastructure Design for Davis Oaks, a 21 unit community located in Decatur.  Davis Oaks creates a welcoming community while preserving  as much land as possible.  Richport was able to preserve 34 percent of the property’s original greenspace and offer a National Wildlife Federation Backyard Habitat relaxation trail while connecting existing neighborhoods and promoting walkability, as well as providing for its own water management through a greenspace buffer.  Rick was onstage to accept one of only four awards given. It is a huge compliment to Team Richport.
