Resource for Today’s New Home Buyer

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) continues to be a resource for new home buyers in order to increase awareness about the industry and provide helpful consumer-oriented information. Building or buying a home is one of the most important lifestyle and financial decisions most people will make, yet because it’s not a daily decision, many prospective home buyers are in the dark on critical choices that may affect their overall satisfaction. The HBA wants home buying to be a positive experience for everyone and is therefore committed to helping buyers through the process.
 

The Academy For New Home Buyers will be held on July 14 from 10:00-12:00.  The Academy is free.  This class will merge the talent of industry experts with the needs of potential homeowners. The two-hour class will feature industry professionals’ expertise about home buying factors such as:

• selecting your builder or custom home team;
• designing your new home;
• understanding the building process;
• paying for your new home;
• selecting your new home’s location;
• understanding the building contract;
• preparing for closing;
• using the homeowner orientation;
• looking at the warranty overview; and
• moving into their new home.
