RE/MAX Around Atlanta Hosts ‘Come Forward to Give Back’
The 7th largest Atlanta real estate company has teamed up with the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of Realtors, also known as NAMAR, to collect food, infant clothing and funds for two Gwinnett County non profit organizations. RE/MAX Around Atlanta is setting an example for the real estate industry that despite the tough economic times, it is still important to help others in need. The items they collect will go directly to helping the Lawrenceville Cooperative Ministry and Joseph’s Storehouse Clothes Closet.
RE/MAX Around Atlanta is only one part of NAMAR’s “Come Forward to Give Back” initiative. Different real estate offices throughout Atlanta are collection locations for donated items, making it easy for everyone to participate. So, gather some food, infant clothing or money in support of this drive, which continues through May 31, 2009. Volunteers may drop these items off at:
- RE/MAX Around Atlanta, 2280 Satellite Boulevard, Duluth
- Coldwell Banker, 1970 Main Street E #D, Snellville
- Keller Williams – 2170 Satellite Boulevard, Duluth
- Metro Brokers – 3330 Satellite Boulevard, Duluth
- Prudential – 1551 Janmar Road, Snellville
RE/MAX Around Atlanta, which is a Duluth company, is excited to be able to be able to help the local population. The Lawrenceville Cooperative Ministry served more than 1,100 families in January alone, more than doubling their outreach from the previous January. Through support from the community and companies like RE/MAX Around Atlanta, that number will only continue to grow, and they will be able to provide even more families with food and financial assistance. This is not the first time the Atlanta real estate company has shown their support for the non-profit organization. Way to go RE/MAX for reaching out to help those in need.
