Many people are asking, “Why launch an Atlanta real estate blog?” The main reason is to create an online forum to discuss new home industry trends. Another important reason is to increase SEO - search engine optimization for the builders, developers and others participating. Some of my favorite Atlanta real estate blogs that have been up for awhile include Developing Atlanta, Cobb Real Estate Blog and North Fulton Blog. These sites all provide informative commentary on the real estate scene in their specific area. The DIRT-E blog is fun to visit just for the online comedy provided by the DIRT-e Old Man.
Inman News recently posted a four-part series of articles on blogging by Real Estate Coach, Bernice L. Ross, Ph.D. Ross comments that blogging improves web rankings, allows consumers to get to know and trust you and that blogs are an excellent way to reach younger buyers and sellers.
Blogging and online publications are becoming an important part of the public relations strategy for many of the builders we represent.
