Held at the Chicopee Woods Golf Course in Gainesville, this is a scramble-style tournament that is perfect for men and women golfers of all skill levels. All proceeds from this year’s tournament will go to the Flowery Branch Shop with a Cop program.
The $75 entrance fee for participants covers green fees, cart rental, range balls, lunch and prizes. Every entrant will receive a $20 gift card from Chicopee Woods, as well as a practice round for only $20. Each golfer can also compete to win prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive and the putting contest, as well as two hole-in-one contests. Prizes for these fun contests include a $500 shopping spree and the use of a brand new 2014 Honda.
The Sterling on the Lake Golf Tournament will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 with registration beginning at 11 a.m. The putting contest will start at 12:20 p.m. and will be followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start.
