Quality Growth Expert to Speak at Upcoming Henry Council for Quality Growth
Dr. Catherine L. Ross, the director of Georgia Tech’s Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development (CQGRD) will present “Sustainability, Mobility and the Megaregion” with members of the Henry Council for Quality Growth at the next luncheon meeting Wednesday, May 16th at 11:00 a.m.
Dr. Ross’ presentation will focus on the emerging “megaregions” in the United States and the challenge of providing mobility while assuring a sustainable future and a high quality of life.
The Council holds monthly meetings to educate members, local elected officials and business leaders on the Council’s pursuit of continued balance and responsible growth.
The meeting, which is sponsored by United Community Bank, begins at 11:00 a.m. for networking with the luncheon following at 11:50 a.m. The luncheon is $25 for Council members and $35 for nonmembers. For more information, visit www.henrycouncilforqualitygrowth.com or call 770-898-9076.
