Pulte Homes recently held the Notes of Love event at the future home of the Haley family, who is receiving a mortgage-free, fully furnished home through PulteGroup’s Built to Honor program. Sgt. Haley, a wounded Iraq war veteran, and his family will soon be new homeowners at Barrington, a Pulte Homes community located in Sugar Hill.
Held on Wednesday, April 9, the Notes of Love event allowed dozens of Pulte Homes’ employees, trade partners, suppliers and neighbors to write notes of love and encouragement to the Haley family on the studs of the home. The family was then able to visit the home and read the notes that had been left behind before construction resumed. This personal touch will live on inside the walls of the home, and in the hearts of the family, forever.
The Haley’s new home will feature the spacious Mercer plan, a four bedroom and three-and-a-half bathroom home. Also included in the home will be a beautiful screened lanai and the newest consumer-inspired features, such as the Pulte Planning Center, a loft space for the children and an owner’s entry with drop zones.
The home is being constructed through Built to Honor in conjunction with Operation FINALLY HOME, a 501(c)(3) organization that honors wounded, ill and injured veterans and widows of fallen soldiers with new, custom-built and mortgage-free homes.
