Pulte Homes, one of Atlanta’s largest homebuilders announced today that the 5th Annual Pulte Partners Classic Charity Golf Tournament will be held at the brand new Canongate at Sun City Peachtree course.  The tournament is scheduled for Monday, October 20, 2008 and is a fundraising event to support Share Our Strength®.

Share our Strength® is a national organization committed to ending childhood hunger.  The organization’s Atlanta beneficiaries include the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Genesis Shelter and The Georgia Citizens Coalition on Hunger.   Pulte Homes has assembled a group of more than 75 trade partners from its Pulte and Del Webb communities.

At a time when the building industry is facing the toughest economic environment in decades, the trade sponsors have thoughtfully pledged over $50,000.

“We believe it is important to continue to give back to the communities we live in,” says Alicia MacPhee, Georgia division president for Pulte Homes and Del Webb.  “We are proud to be the catalyst that brings these businesses together in support of such an important cause.  Despite today’s economy, we are fortunate to have so many of our generous partners helping to make the Pulte Partners Classic Charity Golf Tournament a success.”
