Points North Signature Home in Achasta

Points North is a montly publication dedicated to life on the North side of Atlanta, and, in their most recent issue, announced the grand opening of the first-ever Points North Magazine Signature Home. The Signature Home is located in Achasta, a beautiful community nestled in Dahlonega. This breathtaking new home in Dahlonega is anything but ordinary and a must-see. Boasting 4,500 square feet of living space, the home was specially designed to accent its natural surroundings. The home stretches skyward through the tree canopy and features an amazing view of the Appalachian peaks. The interior is just as impressive (if not more impressive) as the exterior. Inside, you will find 10 foot barrel vaulted ceilings, providing plenty of headroom. In addition to the ample amount of space above your head, the house has four bedrooms, three and one-half baths, a gourmet kitchen, wine cellar and tasting room, family room with two-story stone fireplace, media room and plenty of outdoor living space. The whole house was decorated with an earthly, rustic feel, and you will find a combination of natural woods and contemporary accessories throughout the home. The spectacular new property is open for tours, with admission being just $5 per person or $10 per car. This admission fee goes directly to Community Helping Place – a worthwhile organization in Dahlonega. Linger Longer Homes built this exquisite mountain home, and, with the help of Julie St. John as the interior designer, has created a perfect innaugural Signature Home for Points North Magazine. Don’t miss the opportunity to see it in person!

  1. Hi, I toured this home last weekend and really liked the artwork in the kid’s bunk bed room. Could you tell me who the artist is? Thanks

  2. Laura Everett

    Darlene,

I am glad you were so impressed with the home. I do not know off the top of my head who the artist is. I would suggest contacting Points North for the information.

  3. We toured this beautiful home this weekend but, alas, my flash did not work and I was unable to take any good photos. Is there a publication I can get that shows are all rooms in the house? Also, what is the price of the home as is (incase we win the Lottery, LOL)
