Peachtree Hills Place Site is Training Ground for Atlanta Fire Fighters

The 23.3 acres at the corner of Peachtree Hills Avenue and Virginia Place in Buckhead will soon be the site of a new standard in luxury living for those ages 62 and older, but earlier this week, the existing buildings served as a training ground for future Atlanta fire fighters. Isakson Barnhart, the developer of Peachtree Hills Place, invited Atlanta Fire Rescue to hold training for new recruits at Peachtree Hills Apartments on the future site of its residential community offering a continuum of care.

Training was conducted by Atlanta Fire Rescue for 15 recruits in the Fast Track Program. The apartments were the backdrop for exercises in fire fighter down/rescue, laddering, entanglement, forcible entry and ventilation. A big thank you goes out to Isakson Barnhart for truly helping out the community, way to go!
