OBIE Intent to Enter Due Friday!

This is your last chance to get your intent to enter OBIE forms into the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association because they are due tomorrow. Don’t worry if you have misplaced the form because you can easily download it off of the HBA Web site. It’s very simple to fill out – all you  need to know is which category or categories you are submitting and then fill in your company name and contact person. With so many categories including building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement, how do you possibly decide which ones to choose?

Well, the first thing you want to ask yourself is “Has my company done something extraordinary in the past two years?” Whatever the answer or answers are to that question is how you decide what category to enter to be in the running for one these real estate awards.  You can even enter different products in the same category. So, if you thought “I have two exceptional single-family homes in the same price range,” then enter both of them for the Single Family Builder – Detached category for the price range.

Even better are the new rules for this year. They have extended the eligibility requirements to include the past two years (in previous years the project must have been completed in the past year). They have also added more categories that include the new wave of the industry – social media, video, audio, interactive tool and more.
