OBIE Intent to Enter Due April 24

It is now time to enter the 2009 OBIE Awards to receive well-deserved recognition for all of your extraordinary accomplishments in the Atlanta home building industry! You will need to complete the Intent to Enter form by April 24, 2009. If you are familiar with the OBIE Awards program, you will be excited to see the new categories that have been incorporated into the program including e-marketing and green design. You will also see some new rules and other guidelines that apply to re-entries and products that were built or marketed in 2007. No, that is not a typo – for the first year, the OBIE awards has expanded the eligibility time frame to be two years instead of one. Be sure to read the fine print for specific details about entering projects that were entered last year.

If you are new to the OBIE Awards program, it is the most prestigious awards program in the Atlanta home building industry and hosted by the Greater Atlanta Home Builder’s Association. Categories of the awards include building,  remodeling, and personal achievement. Earning an OBIE is an outstanding achievement and recognizes all of your hard work and dedication to Atlanta’s real estate industry.
