Oakwood Homes Takes Six Awards in OBIE 2006 Competition

Oakwood Homes LLC recently had its most successful evening ever at the annual OBIE Awards Banquet for Professionalism, winning six top awards in the 2006 competition.

The OBIE competition is the annual program hosted by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. The program gives members of the association the opportunity to compete with their industry professionals in building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement areas.

All of Oakwood Homes’ 2006 awards were for homes in The Village at Towne Lake, the 250-home neighborhood in the Towne Lake master planned community in Woodstock. Gold Awards were received by Oakwood Homes in the categories of Single Family Detached (Builds 31-99 Homes a Year) - $420,000 to $469,999 price range; Best Building Design - Detached Model - $300,000 to $399,999; Best Interior Merchandising - Detached Model - $400,000 to $499,999; and Best Interior Merchandising - Detached Model - $300,000 to $399,999. DMD Design Group received the Silver Award in this category for another Oakwood Homes model home in The Village at Towne Lake. Oakwood Homes also received two Silver Awards in Best Building Design - Detached Model - $300,000 to $399,999; and Best Building Design - Detached Model - $400,000 to $499,999.
