Oakwood Homes Selling Active Adult Homes within Riverwood

Oakwood Homes LLC has announced the opening of a 52-home active adult enclave within Riverwood, a David Pearson community on East Paulding Drive in Paulding County near the Cobb County line. The neighborhood, Riverwood’s newest phase, is known as Creekside at Riverwood, and it will have homes affordably priced from $195,900 to $258,900. Two decorated model homes are open, and five spec homes are under construction.

Tony Perry of Oakwood Homes said his company is building three different plans in Creekside, two of which are among the most popular ever built by the company. All three plans include a private courtyard area which is elegantly landscaped, and options for these outdoor areas include water features, fireplaces and outdoor kitchens. The interior walls of the homes forming the courtyard have an abundance of glass doors and windows, providing a sense of openness and serenity and giving the effect of “bringing the outdoors in”, a concept long associated with Perry, who is known in the building industry for setting the standard in courtyard living and for developing trend-setting residential designs.
