Oakland Park gains LEED Silver certification

oakland-park.jpgMelaver Inc. and Urban Realty Partners’ Oakland Park recently became Atlanta’s first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified multi-family housing project by the U.S. Green Building Council. Located at 563 Memorial Drive, this six-story green Atlanta condo building is across from Oakland Cemetery and offers “forever views” of the Atlanta skyline.

Receiving LEED-NC certification means that a third party has examined Oakland Park for its design, construction and energy effciency and varified that the developers made sound desicisions that resulted in a more efficient construction site and energy savings building.
