New Community in Holly Springs Featured in AJC
If you picked up the Atlanta Journal Constitution last Sunday, November 9th, you may have noticed a Sharp Residential community featured in the AJC Homefinder section. In this week’s Development of the Week, the Parks family described why they chose Harmony on the Lakes, an extraordinary master-planned community in Holly Springs, as their new home. The Development of the Week feature is an interview of homeowners at a specific metro-Atlanta community. The idea behind it is to educate individuals searching for a new home on the different communities available. Homebuyers tend to have a variety of needs that need to be satisfied in a new home, usually one particular desire spearheads their decision on a new home. So, Development of the Week asks homeowners why they chose the home that they did, hoping to provide some guidance to other home shoppers. And for Harmony on the Lakes, a community with so much to offer homeowners, it was hard to depict one aspect that attracted the Parks, but the answer they gave to the AJC is probably one that many can relate to – a home with beautiful, natural views.
Since Brian Parks works from home, he needed an in-home office with a fantastic view, in order to avoid staring at a wall for the entire day. When they discovered Harmony on the Lakes, they were instantly impressed with the available lots. Their particular home backs up to one of the community lakes, providing a wonderful view for Brian as he works everyday. They also loved the two-stories of windows in the family room, which helps highlight the home site’s natural setting. And do not think that the Parks’ home is an oddity for the community; Sharp Residential has many lakefront homesites with wooded surroundings at Harmony on the Lakes.
The Cherokee County new homes built by Sharp Residential are just as appealing, if not more, than the homesites in which they rest upon. The Parks chose a spacious four bedroom/three bathroom floorplan. However, they were allowed to customize the house to help suite their needs, and, therefore, added an extra bathroom, making it a four-bathroom house. They also increased the number of windows in the basement to allow for more natural light. While Sharp Residential offers a variety of floorplans designed to optimize livability, they are happy to work with homebuyers to create the perfect house.
Be sure to read the AJC feature in its entirety, and also visit Harmony on the Lakes to find your perfect home, just as the Parks did.
