New Commercial Construction Publication in Atlanta

There’s a new construction publication in Atlanta, and this one is specifically devoted to commercial projects in metro Atlanta. REM Publishing, the same publishers of R.E. Real Estate Magazine, recently launched Commercial Building Savvy. This new monthly magazine is a trade publication for the metro Atlanta Commercial Building Industry and, according to Publisher Lawrence Cohen, will shine a spotlight on the people and companies who are making an impact on the local industry.

In the same way that R.E. Magazine is for and about the Atlanta real estate industry, Commercial Building Savvy will be that same kind of “People”-style magazine only for Commercial Construction. The goal of the magazine is to raise the bar in the building industry by showing off the best examples of building management, design, green building, and workplace safety.

In a style similar to R.E. Real Estate Magazine, which features one of metro Atlanta’s most outstanding real estate agents on each cover, Commercial Building Savvy’s cover story will feature one of metro Atlanta’s most outstanding general contractors, with special attention to their latest building project. The cover story for the premier issue, mailed out in August, was Choate Construction Company. Choate was honored with this recognition due to their reputation throughout the Southeast for exceptional buildings and on-time delivery. The fact that such an outstanding company was the publication’s first cover story illustrates exactly what Commercial Building Savvy is all about.
