NARA Retirement Conference
The National Active Retirement Association’s (NARA) 8th Annual Conference will be held October 18-19 at the Atlanta Doubletree-Galleria. Entitled, “The 50+ Business Summit: Taking Aim at Boomers and Beyond,” the conference will discuss how to attract retirees and market products towards the Boomer and Beyond 50+ age segmet. Guest speakers from around the world will be in attendance, and the 2007 NARA Awards will be given out as well. The awards will honor the finest Active Adult/Retirement Community, Best Clubhouse/Community Center, Best Remodeling/Expansion, Best Advertisement and Best Sales and Marketing Professional. Prior to the conference, on Wednesday, October 17th, Thomas-Warren and Associates of Phoenix, AZ and Retirement Lifestyles magazine will be hosting a Retiree Attraction Business Summit for towns and communities. Then, following the conference on the 20th, NARA will host the Atlanta Discovery Weekend Expo 2007 at the Doubletree Hotel for empty nesters and retirees. The NARA has been hosting an annual conference for networking and education in the 50+ market for seven years. The organization is focused on marketing, building/development and retiree attraction.
