NAMAR Names O’Rourke Executive Vice President
The Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS (NAMAR) recently named Tom O’Rourke as the new Executive Vice President. O’Rourke will oversee all activities of the association, including political affairs and community service projects.
Prior to joining NAMAR, O’Rourke served as Council Services Manager for the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. While there, he was Staff Director for the Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) which was named “Best Sales and Marketing Council” in the country by the National Association of Home Builders for the 2006 year. He also served as Staff Director for the 50+ Housing Council which had the largest increase in membership nationwide during National Membership Month in 2006. O’Rourke also helped the Remodelers Council have the third largest membership increase in the country in 2005.
O’Rourke’s previous work experience includes serving as the Senior Vice President of Operations and Production for the Miss America Scholarship Organization from 1990 to 2002. Additionally, he has held a variety of marketing and public relations positions.

Established in 1969, NAMAR promotes professionalism and ethical real estate practices. One of the largest REALTOR associations in Metro Atlanta, the association is dedicated to the real estate industry and private property rights.
