NAMAR Names Elaine Westfall as May/June Good Neighbor

Tim McFadden presents Elaine Westfall w/Good Neighbor AwardThe Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS (NAMAR) has recognized their 5th Good Neighbor Award Recipient, Elaine Westfall of Harry Norman REALTORS. The Association accepts nominations for NAMAR members who have made exceptional contributions to improve the quality of life in their community. Elaine Westfall’s car isn’t just her mobile Atlanta real estate office. It is also her American Red Cross (ARC) office. Along with buyer and seller kits, GAR forms, and a map book, are boots, a hard hat, a three-day emergency kit, and the familiar red and white vest of someone who has come to help — A Red Cross Volunteer. Elaine’s plan is to prepare people for disaster and help them after a disaster. She seeks groups in Gwinnett County who want to learn about disaster preparedness. She teaches classes, demonstrates how to make a kit, shares disaster response tips and guidelines, and recruits volunteers. She donates blood. And, to support these vital community activities, Elaine raises money for the Northeastern District Office (NEDO) which services Gwinnett County. Her recent efforts have raised more than $3000.00 for local needs, making her a Gwinnett HERO.

Before Elaine Westfall became involved in real estate and joined Harry Norman, she spent over 20 years in public education. Her professionals designations include GRI, e-Pro, SRES, AIS and CSP. In 2007, she received the Miss Emmie Award for outstanding professionalism and company spirit and “Pillars of Service”, a quarterly award for exemplary dedication to customer service.
