NAMAR Installs 2009 Officers
The Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS (NAMAR) hosted their annual Holiday Breakfast and Installation of Officers for 2009 on December 4th at Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth. The new officers for 2009 are as follows:
Carol Guse, CRS, EPro, GRI, SRES accepted the gavel as the 2009 NAMAR President. Carol is an agent with Harry Norman and has been involved in Atlanta real estate since 1980. She is very involved with the REALTOR community both at the local and state level. Carol will also serve as the Treasurer for Gwinnett WCR in 2009.
President Elect is John Slappey. John is a 4th generation REALTOR. He also serves as the RPAC Committee Chairperson and is very active at the state level as well.
The Treasurer for 2009 is Karen Loftus, GRI, ASR. Karen was originally licensed in 1985 and earned her Associate Broker’s License in 1994. She is currently associated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Lawrenceville.
Immediate Past President, Tim McFadden, will serve as the Secretary for 2009. Mr. McFadden has been involved in real estate since 2001. He will serve as President of the International Real Estate Council of Georgia for 2009.
New local and GAR Directors were also installed for 2009. NAMAR’s goals for the upcoming year include increasing educational offerings for their members as well as helping members find new and innovative ways to be productive and profitable in the changing real estate market.
