NAMAR Becomes a RCA Accredited Association
The Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS® (NAMAR) recently became a REALTOR®Commercial Alliance Accredited Association. This program is designed to set benchmarks and assist in developing products, programs and services for commercial practitioners. Accreditation has major benefits for local associations including the following:
- Value added products, programs and services from the RCA.
- Recruitment tool for commercial non-members who perceive local association as providing residential services only.
- Public Relations tool for the real estate community at large.
- Recognition from NAR, RCA and peer boards as an organization that runs viable commercial programming.
RCA is the commercial division of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). The RCA represents the collective commercial real estate constituencies of NAR, including affiliated commercial organizations. They work to serve the needs of commercial practitioner members and shapes and unifies the commercial real estate industry through the development of valuable products and services, technology initiatives, public policy advocacy, education, research and legal analysis. RCA sets standards and benchmarks for state and local associations to develop a commercial voice. Associations who have earned the accreditation will be seen as leaders of excellence in the commercial area.
