More Great Reasons to Buy a New Home Now!

It is a great time to buy a new home in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Meridian Homes, based in Loganville, GA, is trying to spread the word regarding the importance of buying now.

First, the government has announced the end of Down Payment Assistance. For buyers who may be able to use up to a 3% contribution from a builder of the price of their new home for a down payment, time is limited. As of October 1, 2008, this will no longer be allowed.

Second, the government has announced a first time buyer tax credit of up to $7,500. Add those reasons to the fact that prices are low, interest rates are low and incentives are avialable and it makes now a great time to buy.
