Their redesign of Homefinder -- designed to try and get back readership -- only managed to irritate the builders. When they ran off Homefinder freelancers because they weren't writing enough about the "right" builders, that's when it was clear that the AJC's lock on real estate news -- and the builders' ad dollars -- was doomed.
