Monte Hewett Homes Showcases Custom Design in Polo Drive Home

Ansley Park home

Monte Hewett Homes is currently constructing a stunning estate home on Polo Drive in Ansley Park. This custom home, which overlooks the Ansley Park golf course, is a beautiful example of the design and customization options that are available from the Monte Hewett Homes design team.

The interior design team at Monte Hewett Homes has taken great care in showcasing the latest design trends and luxury features that are offered by the builder. There is no area of the home that is mainstream; instead, the home is designed with an abundance of custom features and every square inch of the home has the Monte Hewett stamp on it. Michael Morris, director of interior design for Monte Hewett Homes, says that “No detail was overlooked in the design of this home, as we wanted to make it special for the new homeowner. Our goal was to incorporate unique design elements that buyers may not even realize they need or want, and then make them say ‘How did I live without this before?’”

The kitchen in this stunning home will feature custom cabinetry and poured concrete countertops. While the concrete countertops lean more towards a contemporary finish, they are located on a traditional base of grey quarter sawn oak cabinets with a lime wash finish. This combination of traditional and contemporary is a unique and new trend, and one that continues throughout the home.

The bathrooms showcase beautiful, traditional tiles laid in intricate patterns and designs. The floors have hex mosaic tiles, while the showers have oversized subway tiles put together in a herringbone pattern. The master bathroom features a show stopping component – a freestanding tub – which is one of Morris’ favorite design elements in the home. It sits against a jaw-dropping backdrop of floor-to-ceiling mirrored glass tile, which complements the elegance of the master retreat perfectly.

Another unique feature added to this Polo Drive home is a dog wash area incorporated into the mudroom. This station is the perfect place for pets, or even kids, to clean up after a fun day outside. The space also includes a place to organize family life, with stations for keys, coats and the mail.

Even the main living areas in this home have custom luxury features, including the fireplace in the family room. Featuring floor-to-ceiling Arabescato marble tile, the fireplace can be seen upon entering the home from the front door and it is a truly an impressive sight.

The reverse side of the fireplace opens to the home’s loggia and is covered in weathered granite stone, which is the same stone found on the exterior of the home. This great outdoor living area is accessed from the main living room through two sets of double doors and creates a flow from the interior of the home to the outdoors.

The final design touch in this beautiful home comes from the lighting. Unique fixtures are incorporated into the décor of the home carefully without competing with other focal design elements. Morris also took great care to incorporate dynamic light fixtures into the areas of the home to highlight specific features and architectural details.

Monte Hewett Homes is truly setting new standards in design in each of its custom built homes. The design team is exceptionally skilled at balancing traditional and contemporary, and knows exactly where to incorporate a “wow” element and where it’s not necessary.

This beautiful custom home from Monte Hewett Homes, located at 84 Polo Drive in Ansley Park, is priced at $1,499,000. For more information or to tour this home, contact agent Jim Getzinger by calling 404-307-4020 or visit www.MHHomes.com.
