Park Springs Health Care Facility Gets Even Better

101Have you ever wondered how the best continuing care retirement community in the Southeast becomes the best? Park Springs, located in Stone Mountain on 398 acres surrounded by Stone Mountain Park recently announced that it will begin expansion on Cobblestone; the community’s highly thought of health care center. The expansion that will take place in two phases is expected to be complete in early to mid February.

Already known for the flexibility it provides Members, the expansion will allow the health center to add two memory care rooms, 18 skilled nursing rooms and two prep kitchens. The new space will also allow the center to provide short term admission care in their Medicare skilled unit.

While the ability to perform daily activities in a comfortable and supervised health care center is important, it is only one aspect that sets Cobblestone apart from its competition. With staffing ratios approximately twice the state average, Members at Park Springs no doubt receive the finest health care around from the community’s full time geriatrician and full time Licensed Nurse Practitioner.
