Martin’s Pond Builder Places Emphasis on Conservation, Energy Saving Features

In a time when both consumers and builders are becoming increasingly interested in conservation and energy savings, Jeff Lindsey Communities has included both of these philosophies in Martin’s Pond, the company’s newest community in Coweta County. Martin’s Pond has been designated by Jeff Lindsey Communities as a Tree Preservation Community, and builder Jeff Lindsey emphasizes that he intends to save every tree possible on each homesite, taking only those trees which must be removed to build a home. “We also have a focus on ‘Loving Living Green’,“ said Lindsey. “We offer energy saving features such as energy efficient heating and air systems, insulated low E windows and doors, R-19 vaulted ceilings, R-19 exterior walls, and R-38 flat ceilings.”
Located only about 10 minutes from Interstate-85 and about 15 minutes from the extensive shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities in Newnan, Martin’s Pond is a 38-home community on Happy Valley Circle, which runs off Hal Jones Road near Highway 29. The community offers Coweta County new homes in the school district served by Newnan High School, Madras Middle School, and Northside Elementary School. At present, six different ranch, two-story and master on the main home plans are available with home prices starting in the $180,000s. There have already been four sales and three lot reservations, and 12 completed homes are available for purchase. Located on spacious, wooded lots sized at 1.6 acres or more, the four and five-bedroom homes feature Prairie-styled windows on the front, classic old-styled Craftsman doors, designer lighting, and designer Crafsman columns (per plan). Some basement lots are available. Eight of the homesites touch the pond on the property, and the community has underground utilities, streetlights, and protective covenants.
The builder is currently offering several buyer incentives in Martin’s Pond, including providing $2,500 toward closing costs. In addition, purchasers receive a free three-day, two-night cruise at contract signing and a $200 American Express gift card at closing. Jeff Lindsey Communities also offers a Hero’s Discount of $1,500 in free upgrades to any active military person.
